QUESTIONS:

.) I've been following you for a while and really admire your work. My husband and I, thank you, my husband and I are going to start building our house this year, not far from you in Springfield, Missouri. A structural brick home isn't really in our budget at the moment, but I still really want to achieve a worn brick look on our exterior. I find that so many red brick homes that are new construction totally missed the mark. Do you have a recommendation for what type of bricks we should use in order to achieve a more timeless look?

.) I noticed you use reclaimed bricks. Is this preferred or is there a reason not to utilize new bricks in your construction process?

.) What are the easiest aspects to value engineer and still maintain authenticity and beauty?

.) Have you considered building townhomes or a multi-dwelling unit building?

.) What's the best backyard project for amateurs? A garden arch, a fireplace?

.) What's the best backyard project for amateurs? A garden arch, a fireplace,

.) I told a guy I plan to build a group, build a garage and have structural brick walls. He said that won't be insulated. I'm thinking I need to ask someone who knows more than me about that. Will there be moisture or insulation problems with that?

.) What are your favorite building projects apart from your own?

.) Do you think new urbanism is well received in Oklahoma City? It seems all anyone want are Edmond Mcmansions.

.) What is the vision of Building Culture and the driving force for building projects in the unique way that you do?
